Chris McCormick

This is Chris McCormick, I was on the team that reworked the SEPTA IVR system back in the spring of 2005. Wanted to let you know that it turned out one of my old neighbors is the Director of Operations Analysis for SEPTA. I told him about the project and he asked if he could use the work from our project to help improve their IVR system. I have to follow up with him to see if he found it useful. What caught me by surprise was the fact that they knew they had issues with the existing system, but it just didn't have priority because there were bigger fish to fry first.

Glad to see your blog is still going, and I absolutely agree with you that QVC has a very good IVR system. My wife uses it all the time - I think that's a bad thing actually...:-). Hope all is well, and I have to say that since taking your class I still cringe every time I see something that could obviously be designed better.

Thanks
